About Me

I am a biologist aiming to find my specialization. I have experience across many facets of biology in specimen collections, research, and preparation.

There are so many biological subjects that interest me, but I do not have infinite time nor the neural capacity to entertain a professional career exploring every possible avenue. I have narrowed my focus to four subjects that I am especially inclined to study: vertebrate paleontology, dikaryan mycology, ecological ornithology, and behavioral neuroscience.

There are just so many amazing fields of study and I am excited to tackle the one that inevitably calls out to me most.

Personal

Outside of research I really enjoy rock climbing, making spreadsheets, collecting jars, creating art, learning instruments, and listening to music. I can also walk on my hands!
